Summary
The NEI32NFI utility provided with NodeBuilder Release 3.11 places the manufacturer ID and the major model number at incorrect locations in the resulting NFI file. This happens only when the utility is used for Cypress CY7C53120L8 Neuron Chips.
How to tell if you have the problem?
If your NEI32NFI utility’s version number is lower than 3.11.16, then your utility needs to be updated. To check the version number of your NEI32NFI utility, open a Windows command prompt, navigate to the LONWORKS Bin folder (C:\LonWorks\Bin by default), and type nei32nfi.
What should you do?
This problem is fixed in NodeBuilder 3.11 Patch 2. You can download the patch from Echelon's web site at www.echelon.com/downloads/detail.asp?partNum=153-0119-01.
