Summary
The NodeBuilder 3.1 Development Tool does not correctly set communication parameters
for differential-mode transceivers. This problem affects devices developed
with the NodeBuilder 3.10 tool using any differential-mode transceivers including
the TP/XF-1250, TP/XF-78, DC-78, DC-625, and DC-1250 transceivers.
Devices using single-ended and special purpose mode transceivers are
NOT affected by this problem. As a result, the following transceivers
are NOT affected:
TP/FT-10 transceivers: FTT-10, FTT-10A, LPT-10, LPT-11, FT 3120 Smart
Transceiver, FT 3150 Smart Transceiver
PL-20 transceivers: PLT-20, PLT-21, PLT-22, PL 3120 Smart Transceiver,
PL 3150 Smart Transceiver
TP/RS-485, FO-20L, FO-20S, and RF-10 transceivers
How to tell if you have the problem?
If you are using one of the differential-mode transceivers listed above
and you are using the NodeBuilder 3.10 tool, then you have the problem.
To determine which version of the NodeBuilder software you are running,
open the Help menu, and then click About NodeBuilder. If your version
number starts with "3.10," you have NodeBuilder 3.10.
