Products Affected
NodeBuilder 3.10 Development Tool, Model 10020-31-2xx and Model 10030-31

Summary
The NodeBuilder 3.1 Development Tool does not correctly set communication parameters for differential-mode transceivers. This problem affects devices developed with the NodeBuilder 3.10 tool using any differential-mode transceivers including the TP/XF-1250, TP/XF-78, DC-78, DC-625, and DC-1250 transceivers.

Devices using single-ended and special purpose mode transceivers are NOT affected by this problem. As a result, the following transceivers are NOT affected:
TP/FT-10 transceivers: FTT-10, FTT-10A, LPT-10, LPT-11, FT 3120 Smart Transceiver, FT 3150 Smart Transceiver
PL-20 transceivers: PLT-20, PLT-21, PLT-22, PL 3120 Smart Transceiver, PL 3150 Smart Transceiver
TP/RS-485, FO-20L, FO-20S, and RF-10 transceivers

How to tell if you have the problem?
If you are using one of the differential-mode transceivers listed above and you are using the NodeBuilder 3.10 tool, then you have the problem. To determine which version of the NodeBuilder software you are running, open the Help menu, and then click About NodeBuilder. If your version number starts with "3.10," you have NodeBuilder 3.10.
