801 – NES Jump Start

The Echelon Networked Energy Services (NES) platform is a complex system of hardware and software components which work in concert to provide a robust system for managing and reading Smart Meters and other Smart Grid devices. In order to successfully deploy an NES solution and manage and operate it under real-world conditions, it is necessary to understand the system’s architecture and the interactions between its different parts. The NES Jump Start Training provides you with this information and allows you to gain a first-hand understanding of all involved elements through extensive lectures and hands-on Lab exercises employing standard NES components like Echelon OSGP-compatible Smart Meters, Data concentrators and different other hardware and software tools used in the setup and management of an NES system.
