The following table summarizes problems fixed in this release. The EPR column lists Echelon internal problem tracking numbers.
EPR |
Description |
54529 |
Selecting a cell in a table sometimes caused a crash. |
54559 |
The navigation tree object sometimes did not function properly when it is was embedded in a layer. |
54563 |
Programmatic data point names did not support presets. |
54580 |
Repeated text formatting generated superfluous HTML code with superfluous nested styles. |
54585 |
If you made changes to a frameset and published the Web page containing it, the changes did not always appear in your Web page. |
54700 |
You could not apply a background color to a single row within a table. |
54751 |
You could not create a Navigation Tree object that has three or more nested Navigation Subtree items. |
54774 |
SmartServer custom Web pages did not support relative paths. As a result, they do not work behind someproxy servers. |
56683 |
The Poll Rate property in the Page Properties dialog did not function. |
56745 |
The Data Point Name Substitution Values dialog did not list Web pages that have the appropriate placeholders in them. |
57101 |
The NV index for an NV sometimes became negative after some changes to a device. |
This section describes known problems and their workarounds for this release. Numbers in parentheses at the end of the descriptions are Echelon's internal problem tracking IDs.
The value of a local preset must match the format of the data point (for example, 100.0 for a SNVT_switch.value data point) or the local preset will not work. Workaround: Specify a valid value for the data point or data point field when you create a local preset. (54530)
If you add an i.LON Vision object to a custom Web page, leave it in the default position in the upper left-hand corner of the Web page, publish the Web page, edit the Web page, and immediately add a new i.LON Vision object, the new object’s layer will be placed within the first object’s layer, and you cannot select the inner layer. Workaround: Deselect the new object by clicking anywhere in the Web page, re-select the new object, and then move the layer to the desired location. (54631)
This section describes updates to the documentation.
The datapoint selector for custom Javascript objects now parses the Javascript code and assigns datapoints to keys and assigns custom arguments. To assign a datapoint to a key, include an ELON_DP_KEY:<keyName> expression in your Javascript code. For example, “ELON_DP_KEY:Background” means the Background key is available as a datapoint key. To create a custom argument, include an ELON_CUSTOM_ARGS=[“<argName>”,”<argName>”,…] statement in your Javascript code. For example “ELON_CUSTOM_ARGS=[“BackgroundColor_ON”,”BackgroundColor_OFF”]” means that BackgroundColor_ON and BackgroundColor_OFF are available as arguments for customization. (53258)
// Demonstrate how to implement a Custom Javascript Object subscribed to several DPs
// that trigger distinct, distinguishable functions
// The string in square brackets must be identical to the file name
Echelon.CustomJavascript["EchelonMultiDpExample"] = function(argObj){
this.update = {
// This function gets handed in the DP that was assigned to the key "Background" in i.LON Vision
// and toggles the background color depending on the value of this DP
"ELON_DP_KEY:Background": function(type, item){
if(item.UCPTvalue.length<2) m_span.innerHTML="Use DP with ValueDefs ON and OFF";
val = item.UCPTvalue[1].get();
m_span.style.backgroundColor = m_argObj.customArgs["BackgroundColor_"+val];
},
// This function gets handed in the DP that was assigned to the key "Value" in i.LON Vision
// and displays the value of this DP
"ELON_DP_KEY:Value": function(type, item){
if(item.UCPTvalue.length<2) m_span.innerHTML="Use DP with ValueDefs ON and OFF";
m_span.innerHTML=item.UCPTvalue[1].get();
}
}
var m_span = argObj.domObj.appendChild(document.createElement("span"));
var m_argObj = argObj;
// this line of code tells i.LON Vision about the available customization parameters
this.ELON_CUSTOM_ARGS=["BackgroundColor_ON", "BackgroundColor_OFF"];
};
The NvoPcValue output of the Pulse Counter functional block is updated internally to the SmartServer every time a pulse is received, but it is not propagated on the LonWorks channel until the specified update time interval expires to the value of the NviPcTrigger data point changes from Off to On.
